in the package on ppa for lucid i have see xbmcclient don't work because xbmcclient.py is not on the good directory.

i have do
ln -s /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/xbmc/xbmcclient.py /usr/lib/python2.6/xbmcclient.py

to solve it.
