Addons in any programming language?

Hi, I am slightly confused about the info that addons in any programming language could be used (regarding to the roadmap) and I was wondering if thats a mistake or if not how it's supposed to work? Dlls under windows? what about linux and osx?

Yup XBMC will support other languages other than python:

linux and osx use .so files which are similar to dll in windows ..
The normal XBMC log IS NOT a debug log, to enable debug logging you must toggle it on under XBMC Settings - System or in advancedsettings.xml. Use XBMC Debug Log Addon to retrieve it.
