I picked up one of these and most of the basic functions work with XBMC in Win 7.

I programed the harmony to about 3 different MCE devices mentioned in the XBMC forums, but I get nothing from the Harmony.

I opened up a note pad and tested all the buttons on my three different setups with the Harmony and didn't get one key press in the notepad.

AM I missing something here? I know I should be getting something in the note pad from the Harmony, but I'm getting nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Your post is a little unclear. The link you provide isn't a Harmony remote. Are you trying to get a Harmony to emulate the eBay remote?

If you mean your trying to get the Harmony to work with the IR Reciever that comes with the remote off ebay chances are it will only work if you learn the codes from that remote as I doubt its a proper receiver and only works with a few codes

The one below works with Harmony remotes as I asked on here before it will work with harmony set as a mce keyboard as well

Ya I might have been a little unclear. I was trying to get the Harmony to work with the IR receiver that came with the remote combo I posted.

It will learn the commands so maybe Ill go that route.

Have you tried this http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=54466 - I have Harmony One with MCE IR receiver - set up as MCE Keyboard (not remote) and should function OK.

The receiver that >>X<< mentioned is compatible with the official Microsoft MCE remote, and the Harmony will emulate the MS remote without needing to learn any IR signals.
