XBMC live cd stops on request for open gl driver
#1
Hi all,

XBMC live cd stops on request for open gl driver. This is after it displays the XBMC logo picture so it can drive the video card. It is an ancient pc. All I want to do is play music. I have no video playback requirement. Could some one please clue me in to the fix for this.

The shell(text mode) runs.

The user interface requires GL, so videos or not, you will need it.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

So XBMC carries with it a set of drivers that is not adjustable?

I have to stick in a video card supported by XBMC Live (Open GL)?

I'll have a look around to see what is specified.
