I've been running the DSPLAYER releases of XBMC

For some time now, and absolutely love it. However on every single release, for me at least... there has been an annoying problem, whereas if a movie or tv show finishes playback... XBMC freezes, ie wont allow me to select any further shows. Its fine if I stop playback during the credits for example, but some shows such as Fringe, dont have any credits, and as such after every episode have to restart XBMC

Some specifics about my setup

Running DSPLAYER builds of XBMC (have tried all builds including latest)
Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
Dell Zino HD PC.... with ati graphics

Im sure I've seen others with this problem, but dont remember reading of a fix...

Hi all,
In refference to the above question I have the same issue... :-(
I have installed the linux, windows and the live with the same results. I get the same results when running the live version from a usb key. I am now on a windows 7 Pro with the latest xbmc installed and it more or less does the same thing after playing a movie or a pre recorded tv show. MP3s seem to be fine. Is it a idle thing with in xbmc that is making it crash as it is left idle for about 40min or above while the video is playing..?

At least been installed in windows you can crash it out and restart it........!
