Let me rephrase that, the web gui is displaying in HTML with no functionality.
XBMC PRE-10.5 R28256 that I compiled on Mar1 2010.
Everything else works A O.K. but not the web gui. Should I upgrade to the latest svn or has it been pulled from anything beyond the stable releases?

This is by design. The old web API is being removed. There's a new interface JSON-RPC which replaces it and a proof of concept webpage in place. Feel free to doll it up if you're so inclined.

jmarshall, thanks for the update. I will search for info on the new interface "JSON-RPC" and read up on it. I really like the web gui, it kept me from going to the back room every time the kids want to watch, listen or play something different. (about every 30 minutes is there attention span)
