I cannot seem to log onto my Windows 7 desktop file share from my XBox. The XBox is on the same network (same subnet, etc...) and I'm trying to share a directory from my workgroup. Has anyone else ran into this or do you know if I am missing something?

Lots of possible issues here. I noticed on a recent build I had to use IP addresses in the SMB path names instead of UNC.

Well the weird thing is that I can actually see my desktop and workgroup; it is just not accepting my username/password. It goes right back to the screen prompting me for a username/password.

Thank you very much. It ended up being the Windows Live Assistant! Now I can get in w/no password needed.
