i searched the forum, googled the net, are there really no metal heads using xbmc? and no one created a scraper for metal-archives.com?

the site is just great, and contains every single bit of information for even totally unknown schoolbands

i'm most definitely a metal head. but i cba to write scrapers, that's for the mere mortals ;P (deep deep irony)
so you can go right ahead and write it. i assume that's why you post in the dev forum. Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting. Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules. For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first. |

in short; it's only available in newer xbmc builds.

ok tried it out, all albums get found, which is great, but quite often album-information is missing (genre, year).
the "Thumbs" appear not to get read from metal archives? it would be great if the scraper would just set the bandfoto as Thumb, or at least the logo if theres no bandfoto. actually most bands don't get a picture in Info View, or even artist information (try AMON AMARTH for example). thanks for your great work so far!
