I apologize if this is in the wrong section, but I need help troubleshooting a modchip install. I installed it myself years ago on a V1 XBox. I use it almost daily with XBMC to watch TV shows, but it just recently started having difficulty booting up, and now won't boot at all with the modchip (smartxx v3 w/xapt3r solderless) installed. It just starts/restarts 3 times and then to the christmas lights flashing ring (fragging?). Can anyone point me in the right direction to get help troubleshooting this?

Or if you take a look over at XBMC4XBOX http://www.xbmc4xbox.org/ you may run into a very helpful chap by the name of "Bomb Bloke" who is pretty much guru level on the ol'box!
