Cheers Hitcher, should have figured that one out myself. I keep doing that... missing the obvious!

Very cool like the design liquidskin76.

Just curious (doesn't matter if its not possible) but could XBMC do something like the sparkle wave thingy in the background on the PS3, I always liked that and it adds depth to the UI.

That could be done in a similar way to the smoke trails effect of Xperience.

Thanks Starstream for your positive comments.

I did think of maybe trying something. Maybe later when the skin is complete, i'll try something and release as a new version. Perhaps the smoke trial effect, that can be disabled for lower spec machines.

I made about 80% of something like XMB about 3 years ago, if any of the links still work, your welcome to use the graphics, code, and icons. It's all yours.
Here is the thread.

I didn't have a PS3 at the time, so it was pretty rough to emulate based on you tube videos.

Sorry there hasn't been any updates lately. Been very busy with work and stuff!

Don't worry, this project won't die... i want it more than anyone else! Nod The home screen is 95% complete and the settings screens are about 80% complete.

I'll try and post a new video of it in action on YouTube soon.

Cheers

Just a quick update...

I'm helping out with the development of Welo, so development on XMB will slow a little. Don't panic though, it won't die!

Cheers
