dolby's new headphone technology "dolby headphone" that is implemented in windvd, powerdvd etc.

it would be nice to have that feature for late night movie watching.

this technology really sound good. not like the older attempts.

Good Point! Now the Nvidia Shield is a great base for Kodi, and provides headphone jack on the remote, so it would indeed be great to watch movies with surround sound in the late hours, without waking up the sleeping family...

There are many Head-related transfer function(s), Dolby Headphone is but one. Aren't there ANY open source ones for Kodi to use?
