Got the IR receiver, plugged it in, and dropped to the command prompt (terminal), then did the 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure lirc' thing and set it up as Windows Media Center Remote. Reprogrammed my Harmony's to MCE and it works very well.

Is there a way to restart xbmc after exiting it to the command prompt?

I still have some weird things happening with REW on my .mkv video files, but otherwise it looks like the MCE buttons all work.
