hi.
i have mac osx 10.6.4 with bmc70012.
i want to check latest driver with latest xbmc svn.

I tried to compile r115 from here: svn checkout http://crystalhd-for-osx.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ crystalhd-for-osx-read-only

Is that correct? I use an iMac with OSX 10.6.4 and when I run make stuff doesn't fly. Sad

I would also appreciate a r115 compiled version Smile Or if someone tells me how to make it work on 10.6

i think this new driver does not support old cards (old layout) it works with new ones rev 1.3 because i use the linux version ([AppleTV] Crystalbuntu (Ubuntu Linux and Crystal HD) Disk Image) and do the upgrade with the driver and xbmc then what i get from the dmesg

i think it is the same from the osx not a compile problem

perhaps include some logging from the make would help figure out why you can't build.

There's some regression going on with old layout bcm70012 cards, not sure what's going on but looking into it. "Firmware command T/O" errors were seen sporadically with 1.0.3 tagged driver/lib/firmware and old layout cards and now it seems to be hitting all old layout cards with new driver/lib/firmware.

I'm in discussions with Broadcom as to what might be the issue.

It's a little difficult to debug as I don't have any older layout cards, only new layout bcm70012s and the new bcm70015 cards.

Ok this is what I get:

pastebin

I must be doing something wrong because that seems like a whole lot of errors?

Thanks for any help, because I'm not used to fiddle with these things. :o

On the Xcode dmg will be the 10.4SDK pkg, install it.

I downloaded xcode and used pacifist to install 10.4SDK pkg, worked awesome! Big Grin

one final question: Is it ok if I I put BroadcomCrystalHD.kext in System/Library/Extensions instead of the /tmp folder?

I would first test out the driver/lib/firmware in /tmp first.
