+1 for the Mac Mini ! Smile

As per my sig, even the older Mac Mini's are worth the investment.
Drop a Crystal HD in and an SSD ... and the little beasts just fly!

And I have not found a 1080p video that it cannot handle.

Thought I would just quickly update this topic and report that Apple did release a new Mac Mini iteration... very quietly though.

This new version comes equipped with an HDMI out built in and a newer graphics card. The power brick is apparently built inside now as well. The price has increased by about $100 bucks.

I'm curious as to what kind of VC1 performance people are getting on their newer generation minis.

considering this new mini but not sure if it can handle playback without frame drops from my VC1 blu-Ray rips. Those rips play fine on my iMac but it is 3ghz C2D.
