any 'jump to' function?

one of the last things keeping me from adopting xbmc as my main media player is the inability to jump to any place in a video with a simple click or keypress.

most media players (vlc/mpc/wmp) allow you to simply click on the location you want to jump to in the timeline, and immediately you're there.

is there any hidden 'seek to' functionality in xbmc that i just don't know about? and if not, is there any possibility of this being implemented in a future release?

even with a remote cursor it would still be much more convenient than having to fast forward/rewind around your files.

e.g. 0015 to jump to 15 minutes or 0125 to 1 hour and 25 minutes and so on. One of XBMCs lesser known but very useful features :-)
