khold Wrote:With that change it changed so no subs where found
pastebin: http://pastebin.com/RVu9tBbg

Update: I owerwrited the gui.py from script.xbmc.subtitles-2.9.34 with the one in script.xbmc.subtitles-2.9.31

It works!

hardly a solution
amet Wrote:hardly a solution

ofc was just a test to see if anything else went wrong.

Any more thougts on the problem?

btw: does it work for you using videos - files "random episode"
?

it should work nicely with the change I made on github, I am seeing that you are looking for revenge 114, podnapisi has nothing for it (http://www.podnapisi.net/ppodnapisi/sear...L=1&lang=0)

try some other file... using library will _always_ give the best results, and addon is designed with that in mind. support for file mode is very limited

Alright! I'm retarted I didn't think to try another service(but opensubtitles did have one before changing)

It seems to be working now. Much appreciated mate!
Nevermind, stupid me Smile
Hi, I have a problem with subtitles addon.. It used to work just fine until yesterday.

http://pastebin.com/Y1Ymhez9

I am using XBMC on ATV2. Also I checked /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons/script.xbmc.subtitles directory and there is default.py and Last modified date is 3.3.2012.

I hope this log is enough.
Thanks in advance!

full log is needed, do not snip it

try removing /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons/script.xbmc.subtitles folder and restart ATV2, install XBMC Subtitles again and see how that works for you
I have a problem with this addon. Already posted it somewhere else, but didn't get any reply, so here should be the right place to post it:

http://pastebin.com/ZMKB305j

With Legendas.tv 70% of the time the subtitle does not download. It freezes on the "downloading subtitle" and do not passes from there. I have to reboot xmbc and redownload it again to work..some times it only works after 2 or 3 times..

thanks
Hi!
First off thanks for an awesome plugin. It's the only plugin I truly couldn't do without.
I do have two small suggestions though. Would it be possible to have the plugin flag the hearing impaired subtitles. Sort of like the synch icon but one that says HI instead. I was thinking you could have the script scan the file name for the substring ".HI." and if found show the icon next to it. Not all sites use .HI. in the file name but for those that do it should work fine.
Also would it be possible to have the script always return the result in the same order. A lot of the time I get two hits when scanning for subs only to find that the first one I tried was HI and the two result have changed places when I try the other one. A bit annoying. My personal record is 5 attempts until I got the one I wanted Smile

Hi,

I'm having the exact same problem.

With Eden RC2, if the download folder for the subtitle is not set, an error occur. If it is set, it works perfectly.

Full log : http://pastebin.com/9nQarkMP

(First, the subtitle are loaded in sub_tmp, but never read - the error occur.
Then, after setting the download folder, it works)

Do you have any clue as why this error occur ?
@amet: I am trying to write a service for subtitrari.regielive.ro (Romanian subs) but seems they have a sort of hotlink/download protection there Sad I have no skills in python (just the ones required to adapt an existing service to work with the new site) therefore I have no idea how could I skip that Sad I tried to set the Referer in the headers but that's not enough Sad

Any idea how to trick it?

Thanks in advance
TG

Looks to me that é in J:\Séries is giving it problems. I can't reproduce here on osx. Will look more...

No idea, I tend to think that scraping the site is not a good idea, that's why all services I did and I maintain are done in agreement with the site and are using their API which allows for easy search/download
You are right, I'll drop the idea...
With RC2, subtitles download doesn't work anymore (auto download first sync sub and manual download - download folder is set as movie/show folder) :

(the é in my root tv show folder path has never been an issue before)
