When I try to launch xbmc on my laptop, I get

ERROR: Could not determine network interfaces, you must use a interfaces config line

I have never seen this error before and a quick search showed nothing. xb,c won't even start so there is no debug log.

I tried this using the last stable release version as well as the lastest nightly build as well as r31033

I uncommented out my network marks in /etc/network/interfcaes and rebooted. This seems to have solved it.

I read that networkmanager needed those commented out to work. I am hoping that is wrong but that is beyond the scope of this forum
