I have over 1800 movies on a windows home server. The system has been running fine for months, but all of a sudden today XBMC does not show that there are any movie folders on any of my hard drives. It is as if all of the files have been erased, but I can log onto the server and I can open all of the files.

Thoughts?

I actually had a similar problem a couple weeks ago. One of my movie sources (I have 2) Just simply stopped being read. All the files existed and we're playable, but XBMC refused to recognize it. I went as far as removing the source, scrubbing the library, and adding the source back on - but to no avail.

I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling XBMC and things were fine.
