igotdvds Wrote:Here are the files to turn on Custom Backgrounds on the home screen.

*****DISCLAIMER*****

If you turn Recently Added off, you will have to manually set each background (it will default to the icons). With so much going on on the Home Screen, this is the best I could do. If you leave Recently Added on, the backgrounds will be the default ones that Shade uses.

Files:

Skin Settings

Home

Ok, I downloaded the above files and replaced.
Where do you find the option to define background, or folder for Home screen images?
As it is now, there is a stage with a couple lights pointing down.

Under skin settings.

Taking inspiration from here.

I came up with this view. It will come with the next update.

Now that you've asked, sure. It looks like for posters (not banners) and episodes only though.

It looks like he's trying to make the movie list background overlay match the details background overlay. So the whole bottom half will have a continuous background overlay. Your current movie list is much lighter.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH I see it now, damn it was so minor I missed it. I'll look into this.

Sorry but it was difficult for me to explain that in english, please take a look also at the movie list background top line and, if you want, stretch it to the details background overlay (see in my mockup picture).

Thanks

I like tetodbs's slight change. It may be slight but its effective imo.

Not just the same background colour for each panel but there is a thin white line along the top that he has extended to the middle panel incase that was missed.
