i'm guessing you might be doing the same thing i did at first Blush

instead of copying the url for the watchlist find the "Export this list" at the bottom of the list and right-click + copy link address and past that address into CP and you'll be fine.

I'm having the same problem here. I'm doing it in the way shown above and the log says everything is ok. But the movies don't show up in the wanted list.

Would it be possible to add number showing how many movies are under manage. Also a list of movies that are not imported. I have 1150 movies, but when I click select all it only shows 902. Also really great work on V2. The only thing that was keeping couchpotato back for me was a manager like sickbeard.

I am loving CP v2, what a jump in usability! The only issue I have is that my files are being set to be hidden when renamed and moved. I have the folder and file chmod set to 0755 but if I do not run a chmod -R -X * on the directory they do not show up. I will attempt to get a log (at work right now) of the process. My files are on an unRAID server and it seems that others are having the same experience. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.p...ic=20174.0

Thanks for all of your hard work!

Edit:
Attaching a log, I turned on Debugging but I did not restart CP, do I need to?

Hi,

Small issue I'm having with Couchpotato: after using the renaming function in V2, movies are no longer able to "group" themselves within xbmc.

My solution, at the moment, is to untick the creation of, (and remove all previous) .nfo files and let xbmc scrape the dirs/files itself. However, I'm hoping there might be a better solution if someone has encountered this same issue..? (So I can allow CP to scrape/rename and save all metadata).

Perhaps a script to add "group"ing functionality(tag?) to the .nfos??

Cheers..

Just started using v2 a few days ago and I'm impressed! Great job!
I want to use the manage portion of cp, since it is a nice quick overview, however it doesn't add my already present movies.
If I add d:\video\movies under which all my movies are gathered it doesn't add any. I have to add them 1 folder at the time... Like: d:\video\movies\watchmen.
Is there something wrong on my end, or is this the same for every one?

Just started using V2, it seems swell so far.. One question, is it supposed to scan my entire XBMC movie library so it knows what I have and don't have for automation purposed? I pointed it my my movie folder but all of my movies are in subdirectories of the same name and it is not finding anything so when I click on manage it is blank save for the single movie Couch Potato was directly responsible for downloading.
Thanks!

Seems to be temp. bug though - I have it pointed at my movie-folder with subdirs and it worked fine... but I started using V2 a while ago, so it might be a bug introduced in a current version.

Sure enough my watch list on imdb was imported and like 30ovies were downloaded I already had.

Can someone explain the automation part of v2? It lists minimum: votes, rating, and year. I assume it just checks IMDB and downloads things based on that. Or does it require a watchlist first, then only downloads stuff from my watchlist that meet those requirements?

I ask because I have it set (but no watchlist set), but its never downloaded anything.

This behavior changed, you can now use the RSS URL (in the version from 5/31) but there seem to be some issues with it only running once. To get your RSS URL is very simple.

Log in to IMDB | Select "Your Watchlist" | Right Click the RSS Feed icon Image | Copy Link Address

Again you must be on the most current version for this URL to be correct.

Did you set any filters for the imdb-import? Probably the movie in the watchlist falls through the filters and thus doesn't get added...
Just a wild guess...

I already changed the url and still the same behaviour. It didn't work with an older version either. It has nothing to do with filters.

In the watchlist are something like 100 movies and they just don't show up in the wanted list. Neither with an older version or the newest.

edit,

Automation filters are,

[automation]
rating = 5
votes = 1
hour = 1
year = 1900
