Unsure about new-addons and old scripts
#1
Hello scripters :-)

I'am a bit unsure about the state of the current so called scripts....
As it seems the script screen is removed by the newest svn builds

1.) Is it no longer possible to run unmodified scripts with the next release 10.5 ?
2.) Have scripts witch do run with 9.11 to be ported to the new addon-system ?
3.) If so, is there a guide ?

Regards from switzerland ....
Hans

BTW : If all programms are addon by now ... should the entry in the main screen of Confluence not called "Addons" Huh??

Not all programs will be scripts eventually the whole emulator and running other programs will come into it too but that too far away to be bothered with so for now the Programs buttons goes directly to program addons

1) yes its no longer possible they need to be updated
2) a few but thats up to the original authors
3) I got no idea personally Amet is the one to speak too about that

Thanks for the info ....
In this case I do port my script for feature releases as addon ...

And because it is not longer a script .... I will rename the project after release 0.6C

xbmc-addon-ripper

I hope nobody has something about my script renaming .....
This is not my final name ....
Regards
Hans

script.dvd.ripper would be more along the lines of what we use in git/the browser.

Do remember that you should try to have these id's globally unique. So if you happen to own a domain, add that suffix or something along the line with.
script.video.ripper.linuxluemmel
