No luck.

For what it's worth here's an extract of the log that seems relevant:

20:19:39 T:2695152896 M:561594368 DEBUG: GetMusicVideoId (/Users/michal/Movies/test/Iron Man 2 - Trailer (HD 1080p).mov), query = select idMVideo from musicvideo where idFile=44
20:19:39 T:2954493952 M:561516544 DEBUG: CDVDPlayer::HandleMessages - player started 1
20:19:39 T:2958221312 M:561545216 ERROR: VDADecoderCallback - imageBuffer format is not '2vuy' or 'BGRA',is reporting 0x42475241

This is with build 31516.

If this doesn't hint at the problem then I can post a fuller log a bit later (have to make dinner now).

Regards,
Michal

P.S. And with another file:

20:33:34 T:2957156352 M:538079232 ERROR: VDADecoderCallback - imageBuffer format is not '2vuy' or 'BGRA',is reporting 0x32767579

MediaInfo for both files in the order mentioned:

Yes it works in that it displays the video, but I'm not sure it works 100%.

I noticed serious audio sync issues and dropped frames.
I'll have a look at the logs and see if I can provide some useful information when I get home tonight.

Regards,
Michal

My BluRay rips and DVD rips play perfect, with no Audio hiccups. FWIW, both Video and Audio are outputted via HDMI, for me.

HDMI here also. My problems occurred with all 720p/1080p Apple trailers as well as some other .mov files.

I'll see if I can get something useful out of the logs this evening.
