Hey, so I have the macmini server running regular osx snowleopard 10.6.4 (2.53ghz core2duo, 4gb ram). It has the 9400 video card and I am using this displayport to hdmi connector http://www.monoprice.com/products/produc...1&format=2
In order for me to get sound with it I have to set my output to the usb audio which works fine. However if I enable the vdadecoder in xbmc the cpu is very low but the framerate is atrocious when I am playing HD content. If I disable the usb audio the decoder works just fine, I just dont get any sound out of my tv. And vice versa if I disable the decoder sound works fine but my cpu is working overtime. Any ideas? I can pull in the log or the debug log but I wasn't seeing anything in there that would affect it.
Also I have been keeping up with nightly builds just in case it is a bug somewhere
