Hi there, im experiencing dificults running 1080p videos with this processor and XBMC. With media portal and coreavc, 1080p playback is fine. Is there anything i can do to improve performance with xbmc?
My setup:
Athlon x2 5200 64bit
Gigabyte MA78GM-S2H
3 Gb ram
Windows Vista 64 bits

If your GPU supports DXVA2 try the nightly builds.

Your system should be more than enough.
But it's a waiste of energy and your fans will go loud. So use the nightly builds (with or without DSplayer) they support video playback via your videocard.
