Hello,

What a great community i am just getting setup and configured, i have 3 media types 1) Movies 2) Tv Shows 3) Anime i just want to know if my file name structure is ok.

Movies

/Movies/V.For.Vendetta.(2005).extension

Tv Shows

/Tv Shows/Gavin.&.Stacey.S03E04.extension (all of the episodes are in the same folder)

Anime

/Anime/Episode Title/Episode Name Episode Number.etension

I had had a search but i can't seem to find anything maybe someone will point me in the right direction but i thought i would ask to be sure.

Thanks
Rich

You want a "Gavin & Stacey" folder inside the TV Shows folder. You'll want the same for your Anime.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply;

What your saying is i need my tv shows like this?

Tv Shows

/Tv Shows/Gavin & Stacey/Gavin.&.Stacey.S03E04.extension

Will my movies get scraped in their current formatting?

You'll probably want the same structure for your movies. That way you can dump the video file, nfo files, and any fanart or thumbnails into the one folder and XBMC will know what to do with it.

/movies/name of movie (YYYY)/whatever.mkv

You then need to set the scraper to look at the folder titles.
