Hi,
when i try to connect to my XBMC i get the following error:

java.io.IOException: Illegal character in authority at index 20: http://192.168.0.204:8080

Here is the log created with Loc Collector: http://pastebin.com/p7uBV8x6

Has anyone else the same problem?

Hmm it seems you have a newline char in your URL of the XBMC host? Can you verify that?

Running XBMC on my HTPC, tablet, phone and pinball machine.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forums before posting. Do NOT e-mail Team-XBMC members asking for support. For troubleshooting and bug reporting, make sure you read this first.

You are right. I cleaned the host address field and retyped the address and know it works! Great work! May I suggest to check the entered address for newlines and similar characters to avoid those "Fat finger errors".

Thanks for your help

Stefan
