okay, so what i would like to do is install a svn version of xbmc but not one of the ones that requires the addon's (prefer using a skin thats not compatible atm)
or ideally
update 9.11's tvdb scrapper cause its not working out of the box it seems
(i just did a fresh install today .. and the tvdb scrapper doesn't seem to be working .. if i do a scan for new content, it doesn't do anythign .. when i go inside my tv share .. and hit 'I' on a show, it queries thetvdb .. lets me select the show from the dialogue .. but then doesn't download any show or episode info)
if it matters -> Zotac MAG .. fresh minimal karmic 32bit install .. then completed it with XCI script
