my problem is that i just downloaded this xmbc media center this morning brilliant peice of software but everytime i play video iso or avi or mp4 i have sound to them but no video playback is this because my graphics isnt good enough thanks

Try changing the video renderer to "software".

Also, read the sticky about posting questions in a useful manner (e.g. debug log).

thankyou for that i could not find that graphic option in xmbc 9.11 so i downgraded to 8.1 and found it straight away thankyou
