[Sinnocence]

Hi guys,

I'm hoping someone can clear up the behavior of this for me. I tried a search and the wiki but didn't see anything definitive.

I have three profiles, each with a different skin. If I set the first two skins to use a skin-custom view type and the last skin to use a simple list (and do this in any order), by the time I return to the first skin it view type has reverted to a list view. Switching profiles itself isn't an issue so long as I don't change the view preferences (even if I change back to the one I entered with it will 'break' the setting for the other profiles).

So I guess the question is, should you be able to have different skin-specific settings across profiles, or is the behavior described above expected?

You should if you have separate databases.

Thanks for the reply jmarshall. I specified separate user directories when creating the profiles, should I need to do anything more than that to ensure they use separate DBs?
