thumbnail view in backrow

I just got XBMC going and have many questions...I'll pose them one topic at a time.

I'm using the Back Row skin. I want to view my movie library as thumbnails. I don't know if I even have any thumbnails to view, but I have a few movies. How do I assign thumbnails to video files and then view the library in thumbnail view?

I will be getting fresh movie poster images for use as thumbnails today. What size/resolution is ideal?

Sounds like you need to have a read up on the general stickies for getting XBMC up and running - so this is really more of a general question for XBMC rather than Back-Row related.
