I was using the add-on repository to download the update for the Alaska skin. It died mid-download. Now it will not let me complete the download (stuck at 0%) but all other updates work.
Is there a temp file somewhere to delete in order to be able to update once again?

The ZIPed files are stored in addons/packages

And I got rid of that, but still no luck. I even restarted XBMC.

I think the issue is that it is trying to download 1.03 but the version is actually 1.04.
Your addons.xml seems to point to 1.03 http://xbmc-repo-hitchers.googlecode.com...addons.xml <addon id="skin.alaska" version="1.0.3" name="Alaska" provider-name="Hitcher"> Could be wrong though
