hi,

i would like to exclude certain addons, in particular my current skin, from being updated automatically. if there's something corrupt with the newly updated skin, my htpc is useless, and that's not good for the WAF . so these addons have to be updated manually by the user.
for my video- and musicaddons it makes sense when they update automatically.

what do you think?

If you're dead set on this, edit the addon's addon.xml and change the version number to something high like 9.9.9

Otherwise, just rollback if there's a broken update

It would be nice to turn off updates for some add-ons but not others. The Aeon Nox issue comes to mind.

Or updating of selective files would be even better. To allow only small changes that keep it working with it's api.
Like i did the layout for youtube differently. And it won't update if i make that file read only.
So i end up copying it back every time...
