Hello,
I am probably missing something obvious but I can't lock a preset in Milkdrop as I used to on XBOX with the back button.
Can someone please point me to the correct procedure on how to un/lock presets in Milkdrop?
EDIT >> By the way I am using xbmc-r32091-Dharma on Win7x64

Bump!
Is it even still possible in the last XBMC versions?
I can't find anything about that function in the manual and Google doesn't say much about it...

L on the keyboard is lock preset. Check the keymap files if you use a remote.

Hello Jmarshall,
I tried with L with no luck (tried in capitals as well).
I also tried other keys without success.
As I was using Aeon65, I switched back on Confluence with the same result.
Could this be a bug in the latest Dharma releases?

works fine here but there's a good chance that it isn't merged to dharma branch
update: its in dharma branch now r32185 and should be into tomorrow nightly.

When you say "lock a preset" do you mean keeping the same
"pattern" playing over & over, versus changing all the time?
I'm trying to learn more about adjusting milkdrop to avoid certain patterns, since my wife is prone to migraines, and some of them really afect her to the point she can't stay in the same room.
And sorry didn't mean to highjack the thread.

Thanks, Darts, bookmarked & will have a look. At least now I can find one that is smoother & L it into place for the time being.
The Boxee implementation seems to have less of the "strobe-y" ones than XBMC does.
Cheers
