today my old xbmc based on xbox hardware has been replaced by an Apple TV.
i'm really satisfied, but i need.. a dvd player!
i don't want to make an ISO of my dvd, i want the easiest solution as possible.
i have an iMac with a folder of hard disk shared with SMB and works great. i've tried to share also the internal dvd player of Imac.
i have some problem to create a smb source:
without any disk inserted in dvd player, appleTV don't see the driver through SMB.
with a dvd inserted i can make the connection with something like this:
smb://[imac ip]:445/[title of dvd]
when i insert a different dvd it doesn't work.
How can i do to make a "generic" SMB connection working for every dvd?
