I have two copies of the same movie: one is low res in avi format which is the only format supported by a portable player I have, and one in mp4 which is the much higher quality one that I want to watch via XBMC.
If I store them both in a single folder, which one will XBMC use? Or perhaps more accurately, how can I ensure that XBMC will use the mp4? I assume it searches for movie files in some fashion that I can take advantage of.
You might be wondering why I want to store both copies in the same folder ... simply because it's more convenient and I'd like to as if it works, it will save me duplicating my whole movie library folder structure for those movies I store in both formats.
Any advice or hints gratefully accepted.
