Hello There, just wondering if there is any tutorials or help with on how to setup XBMC to use a MySQL server database so I can easily share across multiple PC's. I have MySQL server setup on a windows box, been following some guides I have found but I get stuck at the AdvancedSettings.xml. In my userdata folder there is no AdvancedSettings.xml and if I create one and add the settings that I found in the forums doesn't seem to do anything.

Hello,

I don't believe that mysql will work with xbmc 9.11. It was integrated into a later release. You may want to try one of the nightlies.
