Modifying OSD colours, unable to change all colours?
#1
I have been fiddling with the colour settings in Alaska, and I wanted to change some of the displayed info (notably end time, duration and credits in the video info overlay).

I have modified all the following settings:

<!-- OSD -->

<color name="OSDNowPlayingBack">c8000000</color>
<color name="OSDNowPlaying">FAfafafa</color> <!-- used to be FFfafafa -->
<color name="OSDNowPlayingTitle">FF8f8fff</color>
<color name="OSDProgressBar">FFc30000</color>
<color name="OSDPlayingDuration">FF8f8fff</color> <!-- used to be FF505050 -->
<color name="OSDBackground">FFd9d9d9</color> <!-- used to be FFd6d6d6 -->

However, I can't seem to get any of the elements I mentioned above to be displayed in another colour. I also noticed 8f8fff is actually some kind of purple-ish colour, not grey or white, but I don't see anything purple-ish... Am I overlooking something? I have checked other colour templates and e.g. the blackwhite one contains more OSD variables, but I've tried a few of them and none seem to help.

Since readability is rather limited I'd very much like to change it. The fields I'm talking about are top and bottom right.

There's something wrong with those textures as they shouldn't be transparent -

As for the colours they're using the time and date colours.

Thanks. That explains the limited readability I guess Smile. I will check, it's a bit bizarre, I pulled the skin in through the add-on repo, and I haven't changed any textures. Running on r32260.
