10.6.8 runs fine on these.

Davilla, Thx for your input....If I buy a used mac mini 2010 is it easy to overlay the existing version to 10.6.8? And finally will this configuration have enough juice (in your opinion) to playback uncompressed MPEG HD OTA recordings of mythtv?

"uncompressed MPEG HD OTA recordings of mythtv", I'm guessing you mean mpeg2 ATSC 1080i or 720p... yes as long as you don't pick a deinterlacer that takes all the ponies away. BTW, mpeg2 is compressed already so saying 'uncompressed' is wrong.

For what it is worth. I just bought a Mac Mini i5, 4Gb with Lion preinstalled using a Harmony 900 as my remote and Rowmote on an iPod for the occasional keyboard/trackpad support. I have not yet encountered any hardware related problems.
