Hi

I've installed XBMC Live 9.11-repack on to a 4GB USB drive to see how well it performs on my PC.

Everything seems ok except for the sound; on the menus there's a popping sound every 3 seconds or so... and when playing movies the sounds all crackly and distorted.

My PC is an ASUS P5QL-E motherboard, Q9550 CPU, 4GB RAM and an ATI 4670 GPU.

Any ideas?

ok, sorted the popping and got sound playing ok in films by setting audio device to plughw:0,0.

I'm not using optical or hdmi audio, just onboard 3.5mm stereo socket.

But... I've not got any navigation sounds?

Any ideas?
