Hey I'm stuck. I’ve looked everywhere i can think of. But can’t find what’s wrong.
Xbmc won’t play some of my movies properly, they start and the sound plays fine but the picture goes fast for about 10 seconds then levels out. So it ends up with the picture way in front of the sound. This only happens with some movies and they play fine in windows media player. I thought it was just the computer I was playing it on. But my new laptop has the same problem. It doesn’t seem to be the file type some but not all avi files do it.
I don't know what other information I can give.
Any information or ideas would be greatly appreciated

Codec is not supported on the avi's your trying to play, You can either re-encode them with something like VirtualDub or re-down load a different copy of the movie. Or wait for another xbmc release and hope they are supported. I had the same trouble with 9.11 until I used SVN's nightly builds.

I didn't wont to re rip the dvds but I gess I'll have too. Doses anyone know of a good program to back up dvds? Preferably windows baced.
