Finding movies containing specific language
#1
Hi there,

I am running the latest XBMC edition on Win7 with about 400 movies in the database.

I really love XBMC, however it also gives me a hard time to find the movies I want to watch. There seems not to be a way to search the DB for a movie that contains for example spanish.

After a fair bit of research I found this posting:

Unfortunatelly I am just a user and the only thing I want to know is how I can search my DB inside XBMC for movies that offer spanish as audio.

Can somebody please tell me how to do that? It should not be that hard, right?

Thank you in advance,

Merlin

You can create a smart playlist that looks for Audio language is or Audio language is not

How ever this only works if your media contains the audio language in its stream details if it doesn't then you could use Ember Media Manager to create nfo's and add the correct audio language in the stream details its easily done from the meta data tab

Smart playlists are easy to create in Confluence go to

Videos > Library > Playlists

An alternative is create a genre say for example Spanish audio and put that in the nfo

Either of those would give you a library with only Spanish audio titles one from Genre and one from playlists
