#16
This looks like s great plugin, but it looks like mediafire is down, at least for now. Does anyone have another mirror?

Thanks!

Update: I got the plugin from here: http://code.google.com/p/bluecop-xbmc-re...p&can=2&q=

thanks!!

Mine appears to lock up on Ubuntu, but it just takes a *really* long time to actually play the file.

What is the problem exactly? If it is slow starting then try lowering the bitrate. It starts an episode with in a couple seconds for me.

I can't control connection or xbmc playback issues. The plugin only hands the URL to the player. The plugin is no longer involved at that point. If xbmc is slow playing the stream for other reasons then again I can't control that.

First off, thanks for your work on the various video add-ons that you've released, great stuff. Unfortunately, I've been having a problem with the Daily Show/Colbert Report plugins for the past several days or so. The South Park add-on is also broken for me. Every time I select an episode, nothing happens. When I select it again, XBMC comes up with an error message, saying that an item was not playable. Here's a debug log:

I'm running XBMC Dharma Beta 1 on Windows 7 32-bit. I haven't had this problem before, but now I can't get any episode to load, even if i switch to the latest SVN version. Everything seemed to work fine a few weeks ago.

It seems to be a socket error 10013 which means permission denied. Another person using southpark studios had the same error. I have been unable to isolate the problem. If anyone having a problem could report it to the google code page for my repo. I need to isolate a common cause which might be they have geo protected their rtmp servers.

I think I just figured out the problem! After several unsuccessful attempts at getting the plug-in to work, I decided to see if there might be something new on my system interfering with XBMC. I noticed that I had peerblock running and sure enough, as soon as I closed it the plug-in started working again! I guess a recent update must have put Viacom's streaming servers onto the blocked list.

Thanks again for your excellent plug-ins, and also for your quick reply. Hopefully someone else can benefit from my frustration, at least Big Grin

First of all big thanks for the addon, it's great to get my Daily Show fix even though I moved to Europe Wink

Running Dharma Beta 2 on ubuntu on an AppleTV, it crashes randomly when starting to play an episode, haven't really identified a guaranteed failure scenario yet.

XBMC quits and restarts.

Uploaded the crash log to http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/508201/

Update-

Found out that full episodes are "not available in my area" (guess I'll have to find out how to have a HotSpot Shield equivalent function under ubuntu) -- whereas segments are indeed available.

As Full eps are not the only ones failing, I will keep digging.

This has been discussed elsewhere. You need to compile the latest librtmp. Doing that fixes the problem.

http://stream-recorder.com/forum/rtmpdum...t8603.html

On linux i had to pull the latest svn and compile it (which isnt that hard on linux) no idea how one would compile it on windows. There isnt a release yet it looks like.

EDIT: Looks like someone has compiled windows builds for you http://stream-recorder.com/forum/can-dow...t5533.html (scroll to the bottom for the latest builds)

I added these and it magically worked (thanks ksosez). I just replaced the librtmp that came with xbmc and put all those files in the RTMPdump 2.3 r568 in the same folder. I dunno if that was required though.

Off-topic question but where are all these streams being stored? I have ccleaner set to run on bootup but I'm just curious where xbmc puts all these swf files it decompresses?
