[MOD] IceCubes for Alaska Revisited

Hi great icons, would you have any objections to me using these with xperience?

Hi Paul, not a problem, let me know how it looks like.

Looks great Will try this out some time.

Just added the Backdrops icons as well - Used in the Default Home Layout
these are the origial pictures, ce-cubed (though: weather icon is adapted)
Please look above for the download link.

The backdrops are also used as background in the Horizontal and Vertical Home Layout.

One problem: in Horizontal and Vertical mode, the Alaska Skin does not use the IceCube icon but a default cloud-icon - need to figure out why
Any help ?

Can these be added to normal Alaska?

Yes - normal in the Camelot 9.11 version, but it needs some rework:
1. download the icons
2. copy these to the XMBC 9.11 location: .../XBMC/skins/alaska/media/homeicons
3. check the naming used, some are slightly different (scriptsicon vs programsicon vs gamesicon)

Naming covention in 9.11:
gamesicon.png -> use the profilesicon (squirl)
moviesicon.png
musicicon.png
picturesicon.png
playdiscicon.png
programsicon.png -> use the addonsicon
settingsicon.png
tvshowsicon.png
videosicon.png
weathericon.png
shutdownicon.png
scriptsicon.png -> use the addonsicon

Hi, I love these icons and would like to try them out. I'm using the most current Alaska Revisited release with Dharma Beta 1. Forgive me if my question is obvious as I'm still fairly new to XBMC.

Since the folders are set up differently with Dharma now (no more skins folder), is there a way I can replace the default icons with these?

I tried doing it within the program but I can seem to only replace the backdrops and not the icons themselves.

Users folder - XBMC\addons\skin.alaska.revisited\extras\homeicons

I was trying to find that folder and had completely forgotten that there was another XBMC folder under Users. Got the icons working now.

How would I reduce the size of the wording below the icons with this mod?

For Favourites, the F and S are both cropped on my tv.

Also, would it be at all possible to have a BBC iPlayer icon in an ice cube?
