I am trying to get my wii remote working on a fresh install of xbmc using the live disk to install to my HDD.

Every thread (and I have read hundreds) simply says...

$ sudo apt-get install bluez
$ sudo apt-get install xbmc-eventlcients-wiiremote

or words to the effect. I always come a cropper on the 2nd line. I get the error:

E: Couldn't find package xbmc-eventclients-wiirremote

I have tried as many things as I can think of, but I am sure this is a simple fix, but no amount of googling ever shows anyone else having the same problem (at least that was fixed).

Any advise welcome.

sudo apt-get install xbmc-eventlcients-wiiremote

try sudo apt-get install xbmc-eventclients-wiiremote

also make sure that you have the correct repositories loaded.
