What was the load on the system? 1080p mkv file?
partimers Wrote:My suggestion for that, would be:
- AT5IONT-I (regular board, not the Deluxe)
- M350 Case with Pico PSU like this http://www.mini-box.com/M350-enclosure-w...0W-adapter
Not that much beautiful, but very small and functional. This is the killer combination in my opinion, and I will be buying it as soon as I hear some reviews confirming this board can be run fanless.
I agree that the Deluxe version does not bring much advantages, the main one would be the PSU, but using this case combo solves the problem. I will be modding it with a XERC+Xbox IR dongle like show here (like shown here, so having a proper Molex coming from the PSU is even better.

partimers Wrote:Hey tripkip
do the case have any fans, or is it completely fanless?
tripkip Wrote:The case has a fan on the side which I have not connected, so at the moment it is running fanless (except for the JET LIKE NOISE MAKING PSU FAN WTF!).

partimers Wrote:I was affraid of that when I saw your pictures. Small fans normally equals noise. If that bothers your too much maybe you should consider a PicoPSU and not use the case PSU. Will you be running Linux or Windows on it?

It will be tough but i think i will hold out for the deluxe version . hope they sell it soon.
anyone else going to hold out?
olafthekid Wrote:hi tripkip,
does the KVR1333D3S9 work well? thinking of getting two 2gb sticks for my build with the AT5IonT-I.
if you looking for a case I can recommend this that I use for my build:

partimers Wrote:Bad to hear about the HDMI handshake issue. Do you suspect it have something to do with your receiver, or with the motherboard? Did that happen on both Windows and Linux?
