I realize that a change in UI is probably not what you might want right now, but maybe it's worth thinking it over.

Currently, the back button is located in the bottom right corner. Usually however, back / skip backward / previous is located on the left side of a remote. It's much more ergonomic, in my opinion.

The button layout is based upon the original XBOX remote.
You can change the behaviour of the button within XBMC itself if you want to swap functionality of the menu and the back button. XBMCLive Dharma beta 2 running on an ASRock ION 330 HT |

They fixed this grave error on the Xbox 360 (Universal) remote and since XBMC has abandoned the original Xbox...
