I'm running XBMC 9.11 and have been for a while without issue. I downloaded and installed Winamp (latest version as of a few weeks ago) to do some quick playlist editing.
Ever since then Winamp keeps opening up while XBMC is running. If I close it, it just ends up opening again. It doesn't cause an problems with how XBMC runs, however, it becomes the focused window, over top of XBMC (XBMC is runnig fullscreen). I'm not sure if I just Alt_Tab back to XBMC (as opposed to closing Winamp) if it will just have the same issues (popping up over top of XBMC). I haven't noticed it happening when watching Video. It definitly happens when listening to Audio.
I don't believe I have anything like Winamp Agent running (its not in my tasktray or listed as a running process) . I've tried dis-associating all the file types from Winamp. Could it possibly be something with visualizations (they both use Milkdrop?). Is there something obvious I'm missing?
Yes I could just uninstall Winamp, but I shouldn't have to...
