I can browse the videos in CBS but the videos fail to play with a UK IP. I didnt use the proxy setting in CBS (as I have a US university VPN I simply connect to)

I was planning on finding a US proxy anyway (as VPN made video jittery) I will report back when I get time at the weekend

I installed via the addons "install from zip" but I can't seem to find any of the addons.

I have looked in video addons and I have looked in program addons etc.

DOH....while using ssh here are work I discovered your folder name is repository.bluecop.xbmc-plugins

looks like your folder with in the zip file is not correct...

the folder is named wrong thus not showing up anywhere

the folder inside the zip should be named plugin.video.bluecop.repository or some thing similar

I don't understand the problem. What is the problem with the naming and why is it wrong? I have had no issues.

I don't think the directory name matters at all but If someone wants to enlighten me. I can rename the directory and it still shows up for me.

Well I am more addressing flomaster. He is telling me I need to change things and I don't see the problem and haven't experienced any problems. So I am trying to root out what he means.

@Flomaster I would guess that you were thinking, that you are installing addons from zip. But you installed from zip the Add-on Repository. You need to go to settings > addons > get addons. read wiki Unofficial Add-on Repositories .
