Version 9.11
OS Windows 7 64bit
Hi guys, not sure what I have done wrong here, but my TV thumbnails appear squashed in several views (poster wrap, fanart view etc). Movie thumbs are fine. Changing the skin makes no difference.
This is a clean install tonight and I have added the advancedsettings.xml as the tv eps were not scraping properly. The previous install had the tv thumbs at the correct size. I have tried deleting the source a couple of times but it makes no difference.
Here are the screens...

Really need some help on this please.

i think you've downloaded banner no all skin does have views for them (but most have)
you should activate the scrapper option "prefer poster" to download the correct thumb you wanna use (same as films) Passion-XBMC Repository Download your SVN skins and addons TvTunes Addon Download Play your theme while browsing library TVshow Next Aired display next aired infos from tvrage.com Logo Downloader Script download Logo/clearart/show thumbs/poster/banner Bande-Annonce Allociné plugin watch trailers in french and vo SportLive Script Live score match info in XBMC (not compatible dharma) |

Thanks so much guys, it was indeed missing the prefer poster setting that needed applying.
If I can be cheeky and tag another question here... In my movies section about 75% of my films are missing the fanart backgrounds; the covers and the info is correct but I really would like the backdrops too. I am using themoviedb.org as a scraper and browsing the site manually I can see that they have the backdrops that are missing. Can these be manually added or is there something that I need to do improve the chance of them auto downloading? |

If its finding your movie and grabbing the details, then it should grab the fanart too. If not a debug log of a scan may help to identify the problem.
What you can do for those that are missing, is press i on the movie and then there is an option to download the fanart from there. If you export you library as single files, it will store all of the nfo, fanarts, etc... with you movies, so that if you need to to a full library rebuild in the future it will use those files when it scrapes. xbmcBoxes.com - The definitive source for xbmc hardware configuration and setup info Shuttle XS35GT Build and Review www.paulrae.com - my blog with lots of useful xbmc and htpc related articles How to enable debug logging and post a debug log How to post about a problem in a useful manner to get better help Debug file location I run XBMC on a selection of ION based xbmc appliances and a atv, all being feed by a opensolaris based NAS using zfs (8*1.5tb, 8 *1tb, 4*400gb). |
