OK I have an HP m170n specs are
P4 3.0ghz with ht
2gig ram
realtek hd aodiu codec
pny g210 graphics card with 512meg (Geforce) HDMI out to 32" lg tv 720p
80gig Maxtor HHD
running XBMC LIVE CD installed to HHD
I can do f1-6 to get to terminal then
sudo alsamixer and get rid of the static
sudo alsactl store not sure why but the how to I read said to
but when I f7 to get back in to XBMC I have a courser left in the screen, and If I reboot the static is back.
any help as to how to fix this would be great
By the way I'm a linux newbie
